I’ve been sailing since I was 8 years old, that’s now 26 years ago!
I started out in Cadets, being taught by such people as Chips Howarth at Bolton SC. I then went on to crew in a GP14 for many years, including several national championships and the Worlds at Skerries.
After a few "lean" years at University, I started to sail on a Sunfast 40 called Wing and a Prayer and had several years doing most of the major events in the UK, Europe and World including Cowes, Cork Week, Kinsale, Tarbert Scottish Series, Spi Ouest, Copa del Rey, and Antigua Sailing Week.
Now, back in dinghy sailing, with an RS400. I’m also a qualified RYA Race Coach and coach both adults and juniors.
Whilst sailing I started to informally take pictures at events and whilst traveling round with my girlfriend to Supernova events I started to take pictures at those too.
